Tracy Gargaro
Tracy is a retired finance executive whose career spanned public accounting, banking, real estate development and affordable housing. He has structured and closed large real estate and financing transactions throughout Colorado, the U.S. and Mexico.
In 2007 Tracy was recruited to join a national affordable housing provider as Treasurer. In this role, he managed more than $120 million of cash investments and sourced over $60 million of short-term corporate credit facilities. He also led the national asset management group, responsible for the financial stability of 250 properties.
Tracy joined a struggling regional provider of affordable housing in 2012 as Chief Operating and Financial Officer. During his 10 years with this organization, Tracy was instrumental in increasing the number of units owned by more than 25%, increasing net assets 10-fold and creating a substantial endowment for future growth and expansion.
In his free time (which he has now that he is retired), Tracy enjoys woodworking, snow skiing, water skiing, scuba diving and spending time with his grandkids.
