Maria Brown is the Director of Family Services. In this role, Maria oversees service delivery and program operations for Archway, making sure each of our properties meets the distinct needs of nearly 1,600 residents. She also works with the real estate development team to develop comprehensive service plans for each property as well as oversees on-site support teams to ensure effective service delivery, measuring the impact of services provided. Prior to Archway, Maria worked in a similar role with PATH, a non-profit organization based in California that assists people experiencing homelessness in finding permanent housing and receiving the services they need to grow. She has over two decades of experience in behavioral health and supportive housing, also specializing in policy. Maria received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
In her free time, Maria enjoys anything in nature. She has a goal of visiting all the National Parks in the US, and is about half way there. Maria also enjoys true crime stories as well as hiking, biking, running, kayaking, and spending time with her dog in the mountains.
