Alex Gallegos is a Family Services Coordinator for Sheridan Ridge and Willow Green. As a Coordinator, Alex is responsible for organizing food bank twice a week, youth and adult programming and helping residents navigate public benefits. Prior to Archway, Alex spent a year as a Youth Treatment Specialist/Long-term Substitute English Teacher at the Tennyson Center for Children, a mental health treatment center for children who have experienced neglect and/or abuse. Alex received his Bachelor of Science in Counseling from Regis University in 2019. Outside of work, Alex has a passion for Musical Theatre and has performed in 34 musicals, 2 operas, and been Assistant Director for 3 musicals with Pandemonium Productions in Santa Fe, NM. He is also on the board of directors for Denver’s Empire Lyric Players which is a Gilbert and Sullivan Theatre troupe. You may also find Alex building PCs to calm down at the end of a busy day!
What Home Means to Me
As Belle from Beauty and the Beast once sang, ‘Home should be where the heart is.’ While home can be a physical place, I feel at home when around people and places I love. My ‘homes’ throughout the years have included theaters, churches, and classrooms.
